Brochette Quilt

I finally finished my first quilt! I used Joel Dewberry’s Notting Hill line and a few additional patterns. The final size measures about 80″x60″–large enough to snuggle under the couch and still can cover the top of a double bed. Being my first quilt, I had to learn somewhere. Vintage Lamp Meets Handcrafted Shade

I found this lamp base at a thrift store that was in dire need of a rehab. A few coats of spray paint made it shine like new. I made the lamp shade with decorative aluminum sheeting and translucent plastic. A large Edison bulb pulled the whole item together!
